Long Journey for Mother’s Milk

Someone sent me this article. It was so inspiring I had to post it. This mother spent the last 5 months deployed in Afghanistan away from her infant son. For the last 5 months, she has been sending bi-weekly shipments of breast milk home for her son. She hoped to be back home before the end of the month for her son’s first birthday. She hopes to pick up their nursing relationship when she gets back home. What an amazing mom! She is truly an inspiration — providing her son with the best nutrition and letting nothing stand in her way from doing so!

I hope you find the story inspiring as well!
