Experts Revise Infant Feeding Recommendations

A friend sent me this link and it is very interesting. The American Academy of Pediatrics sets guidelines for infant feeding and when to introduce certain foods in an effort to help prevent children from developing food allergies. A few of these recommendations have been revised including a mothers diet during pregnancy and lactation, breast and formula feeding recommendations, starting solids and when to introduce certain high-allergen foods. Experts are looking into whether or not delaying the introduction of high-allergen foods like peanuts, eggs, milk, and fish is truly beneficial.
